Modiin's municipal Yuda centre serves ages 19-35 with a study space, events and a discharged-soldier advice centre, and the city runs a support unit for lone and needy soldiers. Soldiers' buses leave from the central bus station on Sunday mornings.

Yuda, at 18 Lev HaIr St by the station, runs events and job fairs; SpaceMod is a study space that subscribers can also use on Shabbat 10:00-20:00.

Soldiers in compulsory service who live in the city can see shows at Heichal HaTarbut free, when seats are available; the city pool gives soldiers a discount.

Getting to base
On Sundays, buses to Ir HaBahadim leave from platform 9 of the central bus station every 15 minutes from 07:15 to 08:30.

Bikur Rofe at 41 Yigal Yadin St (Dimri towers) serves as the soldiers' clinic and the after-hours clinic.
