Hasmonean, Hellenistic and Roman remains conserved in the middle of the Moreshet neighbourhood, with a 1 km sports path, a 700 m loop and an archaeology trail. Most paths are suitable for wheelchairs and strollers.

Remains of a Jewish village from the Second Temple period with lanes, houses, a mikveh and one of the oldest known synagogues, dating from the Hasmonean era. A short walk (about 300 m) from the parking area; not wheelchair accessible.

Attractions & sights
The highest point in the city, settled almost continuously for about 6,000 years, with the remains of a Crusader fort and a 360-degree view. An accessible 2 km loop (about 1.5 hours) passes an archaeological garden with Hebrew and English audio points.

Attractions & sights
Rock-cut graves on a low hill known as Kubur el-Yahud, linked to the Maccabees since students lit a Hanukkah candle there in 1907; the Maccabi torch relay began here in 1943. Later research dismissed the identification, so it is a tradition, not a finding.
