Ancient Hasmonean synagogue site (Umm el-Umdan)

Remains of a Jewish village from the Second Temple period with lanes, houses, a mikveh and one of the oldest known synagogues, dating from the Hasmonean era. A short walk (about 300 m) from the parking area; not wheelchair accessible.
