Byzantine-era burial caves with niches and carved crosses in the Gimzo stream bed inside Ben Shemen Forest; the main cave is naturally lit, so no torch is needed. About 500 m between the main sites; not accessible.

A 1.5 km circular climb (about an hour) on the western edge of Avnei Chen past the ruins of the village of Barfilia, old carob and olive trees, a burial cave and a lookout. Best for the February-March bloom; not accessible.
