The city's central nature park, running from the city square to Wadi Anaba. It has a 14,000 m² ornamental lake, a 1,000-seat amphitheatre, an adventure playground about 8 m high, summer fountains, about 3 km of paths, and the 4.5 km Anaba trail toward Paatei Modiin station.

A 2 km paved promenade (about 25 minutes) from the bottom of Anava Park to the HaTziporim-Nofim bridge, with about five shaded outdoor fitness stations overlooking the Anava stream.

A 7 km2 park of planted forest, woodland, springs and ancient remains, including Emmaus, on the eastern side of the Ayalon Valley, north of Route 1 between the Latrun Interchange and Sha'ar HaGai. It lies just beyond the 1949 armistice line (the Green Line), about 7 km from Modiin Center station in a straight line.

A 750 m walk (about 20 minutes) to a pine wood planted as a Holocaust memorial for children, next to a domed stone tomb. The first section is accessible.

A mostly flat 1.2 km promenade above Anava Park on the southern edge of Avnei Chen, accessible to strollers and wheelchairs from its main entrances. About 15 minutes' walk.

A 1.5 km circular climb (about an hour) on the western edge of Avnei Chen past the ruins of the village of Barfilia, old carob and olive trees, a burial cave and a lookout. Best for the February-March bloom; not accessible.

Open hills and meadows south of Moriah, declared a national park by the planning authorities in February 2021. A 3 km route of one to two hours; almond blossom in winter.
